I’d never had a strong desire to try casting prior to BoundCon this year. Really, it had only been over the last two weeks that I’d been curious to try it all — and even then, I only had my hands or forearms in mind.

But then my dear friend petgirl_kako was cast as a pup on Saturday and it was absolutely amazing to watch. Intense, complex, and kind of terrifying — I couldn’t imagine what it had been like for her. But it was also so amazing to watch from start to finish.

Later that night, hanging out in our hotel living room with all of our friends, she brought up the idea. They had enough fiberglass casting material to do a full body cast of someone on Sunday — and maybe I should do it. I thought about it, and then said, “Fuck it – you only live once, so yes, let’s do it!”

It was kind of a spur of the moment decision, but my ability to say yes to that experience started years ago. The thing is, I’m not particularly into casting. I don’t have a strong desire to do it again (though I probably would not turn down future opportunities). The appeal to it, as I explained to M afterward, was both the novelty and the vulnerability.

Vulnerability is the key thing. I had only been truly vulnerable with M in the past. Only within the last year have I started to really develop close kinky friends — friends I would consider family, even. Friends that I would trust enough to be truly vulnerable with. And they were all at BoundCon. And many of them were involved in the casting.

I never could have done it without that amazing group of people, both new friends and old friends alike. To do it, I had to completely trust them, and by completely trusting them, they helped me have an amazing and unique experience.

For those curious about what it was like… well, it was a lot like a completely rigid sleep sack that takes over an hour to put on, at least 15 minutes and a saw to get out of, and costs several hundred dollars for a one-time use experience. But I guarantee, it’s a very unique and intense experience.

A tremendous thank you to my kinky friends & family, including (but not limited to!), Strangehobbies and Grimly_Feendish for the casting, Serious Bondage for the opportunity, Elise Graves, jlatex, Mrs_Feendish, anne_Omalley, and especially petgirl_kako. The biggest thank you, though, goes to my partner M — he thought I was crazy for signing up for this, but was also there for the multi hour process and experience, checking in on me constantly, and taking care of me afterward.

BoundCon 2016 – a newbie perspective

We recently attended “the biggest fetish fair in Germany”, otherwise known as BoundCon. This was a great excuse to meet up with some of our great friends over a single travel adventure, including JG Leathers, the Feendishs, jlatex, and several others.

The event itself is a bit surreal or.. how should we say, very German. The layout and overall vibe is very different than a North American style kinky event — trade booths and small stages took up the majority of the physical space. Workshops were advertised, but we never saw any obvious classrooms. Apparently “custom photo sessions” are also possible with well known pr0n sites. No formal dungeon or play areas were set up either, outside of vendors pitching their own equipment. This was clearly a trade faire. The crowd appeared to be a mixture of shy weekend’er 50 Shades couples, gawkers with fancy cameras, eager sponge young TNG kinksters, and super perverts with extensive kit to show off. Thankfully all of our friends easily fell into the last two categories!

JG-Leathers comforting B-Kinky

An amazing group convened around the Serious Bondage booth, we provided a bit of logistical support. Gawkers would gather to see the various real deal bondage gear, such as butterfly straight jackets, super heavy metal wrist cuffs, pussy dildo gas mask attachments … all pretty much standard Serious Bondage set accessories. The wonderful artist Strange Hobbies was kind enough to orchestrate several fiberglass casting demos in the booth. Petgirl_Kako was done up as a puppy on Saturday and carted around the event, while B-Kinky volunteered as full body cast victim on Sunday.

Studio Gum mask

I enjoyed some extensive chat time with Richard from Latex101. It was very refreshing to have a FUD-free discussion around latex lubes and shines, and we’re very interested to try beGloss shine in the future. It was neat to see a huge selection of Studio Gum masks and accessories available for testing. B ended up testing a tongue mouth “gag” and confirming that a custom sized hood would be best for her measurements.

The event isn’t perfect – and frankly isn’t geared for foreigners at all. The program guide was entirely in Deutsch – which is a shame, since all of the vendors we interacted with spoke perfectly acceptable English. Our multi-day ticket did not include access to a buffet (additional VIP ticket required), where apparently the quality started high on Friday to sliding significantly low by Sunday. We ended up at the only food

vendor stall a few times with currywurst or potato salad with meatballs – warm and affordable, but with no competition and limited selection. No cold or gas-free water was available – again, normal in Europe, but not so much for foreigners who don’t enjoy bubbly water. It seemed as though the venue location is chosen in an expressly remote location, no S or U-bahn transit nearby – not even a close hotel. Receiving tickets by post in 2016 was also a bit strange too.

BoundCon does have one thing going for it, as a one-stop shop for super niche pervy products … such as Studio Gum’s 6mm thick latex masks, forced leg spreading “systems”, intense No Escape straightjackets of any imaginable material. Overall, attending just the event would not be justified for us – however, having it also function as a sort of pervert meet-up event with our friends worked out perfectly.

Review: Demonia – Paris, France

Demonia is located in a residential neighborhood of Paris. We found a rather large shop, with a huge diversity of the items. In particular PVC was prominent, some latex (mostly molded), decent selection of e-stim wares, and of course the usual lubes, toys, and low quality leather restraints. They did however have a wide variety of latex-friendly lubes and even some cleaning liquids.

Most of the clothing was sized appropriately for Parisians, small to medium ranges – nothing that would fit larger body types.

Review: McHurt – Berlin, Germany

McHurt is a Berlin-based BDSM shop that specializes in their own leather creations. These range from the usual cuffs, paddles, hoods – to slightly more extreme designs, such as straightjackets, sleepsacks, and related restrictive implements. The quality of the material and designs is of a high standard – we witnessed an extensive fitting of a straightjacket that clearly lasted over twenty minutes.

The McHurt strength is clearly leather goods, they stock a few metal, estim, and insertable items – but it’s not a universal appeal BDSM shop. The shop location is a few blocks from a walkable U-Bahn line.

Couples that kit together

Perverts, fetishists, and bondage enthusiasts are people too. Online voyeurism shields us from day jobs, families, and many other distractions outside of kink. But a few months ago, we spent a full weekend with this girl and Grimly. Even with a Friday arrival and Monday departure, we only managed 2 or 3 hours of actual bondage! Some would measure the brevity as a failure, but by our own metrics we had an awesome and inspiring visit. Who cares about torture time, when ideas can be exchanged to execute back home without any time restraints (pun intended).

It’s difficult to capture the geekiness that resulted when proud perverted couples “talk shop” amongst themselves. Heckling about meat eaters, programming languages, e-stim box size, gas mask collections, and much more filled our weekend. We had the pleasure of meeting the couple behind jlatex (of fame) and anne_Omalley during this short jaunt too.

B got to try a vacbed for the first time ever; I’m a bit too claustrophobic for a full-body version myself – maybe a neck gasket model would work better for us both. Grimly, as always, is an excellent guru: not only assembling the bed quickly but also talking through various safety precautions. B reported falling “instantly into headspace” due to the lack of senses, where breathing was the primary – if only – focus for her encased latex body. Apparently she enjoyed the experience enough to start lusting after Kink Engineering designs a few days later!

The famous Feendish dungeon is full of too many toys to explore, though, including antique violet wands.

And during a short “photo shoot”, a number of DIY and home built kit was hauled out for “props”. A vintage electric shaver turns into a very affordable Eroscillator knock-off, where the loud buzzing adds an audible torture aspect.

I also really enjoyed “guys time” with Grimly, who walked me through the Locked for Infinity workspace. It’s clear the L4I product vision is rooted in safety, quality, and practicality.

Ironically I’m writing this post on a daylong train ride – thousands of miles away from both Scotland and America. Finding time to chronicle our own adventures is best done in dramatic landscape changes, where distractions are minimal – thanks to nonexistent data coverage.

We look forward to seeing the gang from Scotland again soon… hopefully next time for a fortnight!

Travel , Vacbeds, and Gasmasks

Towards the end of last year M and I had the opportunity to visit this girl and Grimly for more than just the couple of hours our first visit with them afforded us. While in town, we visited a local fetish fair (which Locked For Infinity had a stall at), as well as had the opportunity to meet the lovely folks behind Bound in Latex. We had a really brilliant time.

I also had the opportunity to try out a vacbed for the first time. I can see why some people might not enjoy them, but personally, I absolutely loved it. It was very intense, all-encompassing, and got me into headspace pretty much instantly. The combination of latex and bondage that it provides is a real treat!

While there we also had the opportunity to see some playspaces, and one thing we found particularly funny (and also were jealous of!) were the gasmask collections. M and I are up to about 6 gasmasks between the two of us after our trip to Berlin, but that’s nothing compared to the collections we saw.

Also, we really appreciated the attention to detail and nerdy organization of folks… but I also suppose with that kind of collection, it’s mandatory!

Overall it was one of the most fun weekends we’ve had, just hanging out with other kinky folks and geeking out over a variety of topics (kinky and non-kinky). Hopefully we’ll have the opportunity for more weekends like that this coming year.

Serious Kit – Electrically Engineered

The past spring we had a chance to meet the proprietor of Serious Kit along with several hours to get a look at some of their gear in person. The bespoke company’s focus is, as you could imagine, on serious kit – specifically milking apparatuses. While not their sole item, the majority of the product offering is geared for cocks (though a breast variant is also available).

Perverts turned entrepreneurs bring something special to their products, including ensuring their gear meets their own stringent demands. This could mean years of tinkering with a design, exhaustive quality assurance (tough job!), and of course, stressing over all the little details. This common story is very much true of the SK line, where “our kit is designed by fetishists, not accountants”.

The craftsmanship speaks for itself – a clear departure from the established products (Venus 2000) with a modern, clean design (in fact, bondage furniture was a predecessor business). Each order is handcrafted in the UK, with numerous options; avoiding the “off the rack” factory aspect. The colored tubes indicate flow direction, critical for extended play with the lubrication reservoir. Refurbished milkers receive a beautiful chrome polish. The milkers can be used simply as milkers, or they can have e-stim electrodes integrated as well, depending on the particular model.

We particularly liked the design of the bi and tripolar stainless steel rings for e-stim play. This paired with a butt plug electrode (such as Mr. S Leather’s WMCBP or E-Stim Systems Torpedo) would be sensory overload in the best way possible – bound to produce a “HFO” or hands-free orgasm.

B and I are both fans of multi-hour long sessions, where the bondage turns into a therapeutic escape from everyday stress. Many would call this entering headspace, or focusing so heavily on the experience that all distractions melt away. SK summarized his own experiences in this realm as “It’s about the fun and pleasure… the pleasure that comes from pain”. Professional doms know this all too well, where competing purely on an exhaustive toy collection isn’t enough. Controlling a session, where sensations can be precisely adjusted is one of the primary advantages of the Serious Kit. The design allows for many different knobs to be turned, lending itself to the ability of producing multiple unique sessions using the same equipment.

Though their main focus is intense genital stimulation with the milking machine, Serious Kit has begun to also offer an encompassing full body “neural novel stimulation” experience: the vac suit. The “vac suit” is essentially “a vac bed on acid” – based on a loose catsuit pattern, coupled with the milking machine, and retained vac bed-like suction. The suit is made of chlorinated rubber, both glued and sewn together, and designed as a “one size fits all”. My favorite story gem is “Germans love our suit for watersports, where the milker can suck away {all the mess}!”.

It was truly a pleasure to geek out at Serious Kit headquarters, and we greatly appreciate SK taking the time to show off their kit and talk shop with us. And, personally, I’m certainly hoping Santa can deliver me a HFO for the holidays this year!

Burning Man and Exhibitionism

Last year at Burning Man, I volunteered to be the spankee for a demo in a spanking class. It ended up being an incredibly small class (of 2 others), but it was a nice easy introduction to spanking and a little exhibitionism.

This year, I once again volunteered for the spanking demo. This time the class was in the afternoon, and rather than an audience of 2, it was closer to 40. Knowing my spanker and having had him spank me the year before (and he delivers a damn fine spanking), I was actually pretty comfortable… but it definitely was a new experience for me. Who knew I’d be showing off my ass to 40 strangers?

And you know what? I liked it. It made M laugh a bit, but he was supportive and it was really great to have him as part of my after-care. He certainly benefited from it as well. And it has also spurred some interesting and fun discussions between us about possible future kinky adventures.

Aside from the spanking and a quick trip to Retrofrolic for my cocksucking certification, we unfortunately didn’t see much of the kinky camps on playa this year. We usually manage at least a couple visits for parties and to see the dungeon spaces, and we specifically meant to at least make it to the FetLife Meet ‘n Greet… but, well, Burning Man happened.

That wasn’t the end of our kinky escapades on the playa, though, since we always bring a few things with us, and after the man burns we usually get up to some trouble.

M helped me put on our darlex straight jacket from Winter Fetish just outside of our trailer. He then slipped a spandex mask with built in eye mask over my head, so I couldn’t see. He then threatened to parade me in front of our camp mates and into our main camp area.

In lieu of doing more of the time consuming hard-core kinky stuff this year, since we’ve been so busy, we’ve been trying to incorporate little bits of kink here and there. One thing we’ve been doing a lot of is talking and sharing scenario ideas and fantasies. And, well, this happened to be something we’d discussed.

M’s threat was terrifying, but also kind of exciting. I begged him not to. He insisted he was going to. And meanwhile, since we were standing outside of our trailer, and not inside of it, some camp mates did see me sporting the straight jacket and hood. I still have no clue who, as M refuses to tell me.

Eventually he relented and helped me into our trailer where he proceeded to torture and tease me in numerous ways. I don’t think I’m particularly loud (M disagrees with me on this), but the right combination of things that night ensured I was very loud that night. Good thing we were at Burning Man and not at home.

It was a lovely burn night overall, and one I wouldn’t mind a repeat of in the future. Though M insists that next year he’s dragging me into the middle of camp to show me off. I don’t know about that… though hopefully we will make it to some more kinky camps and actually have a chance to enjoy some of the bondage furniture people are nice enough to bring to the desert.
